Website Accessibility
Design that connects us
We strive for our website and digital platforms to be usable by all people. We are continually improving the experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards, engaging with our team and communities to test and ensure the best possible experience.

In line with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) introduced in June 2025, we are committed to adhering to the legislation. We have included the following information about the measures to support accessibility across our website www.mimagroup.com, which we will commit to evolving and continuously reviewing to provide an inclusive experience to all users of our website.
Accessibility Statement for Mima Group Ltd
Compliance status
We follow the web content accessibility guidelines and we strive for our website to meet or exceed with technical standard EN 301 549 v.3.2.1 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Version 2.1, AA standards. The website is currently partially compliant. See summary of known issues for details on non-compliant content below. We are working on these issues and will update this statement accordingly. The website homepage currently successfully meets EAA/WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
Description of the service and accessibility measures taken:
We know some parts of the website are evolving and not yet truly accessible for example. We have identified the following issues which we are actively working on and will update this statement as these progress:
- A responsive website that can be viewed on and adapts to multiple devices
- Information and content relationships implied by formatting are communicated in text or in a way that works with assistive technology. Content follows a logical and meaningful order in the code
- Text alternatives are provided for non-text content and image captions where possible
- Text format as well as imagery to convey information. We try to make the website text as simple as possible to understand
- Text transcripts provided for video-only content
- Captions are provided for video with audio
- Colour contrast checks
- Resize of text - Text remains readable and usable when zoomed to 200%.Content remains functional and easy to read when; zoomed to 400%. At no point is text overlapped, nor does the user need to scroll horizontally to see the text
- Navigate the website using just a keyboard
- Ability to listen to most of the website using a screen reader
Summary of known issues:
We know some parts of the website are evolving and not yet truly accessible, for example:
- Broken skip link issue
- Duplicated access keys
- Contrast ratios - some pages require slight adjustment
- Missing alt text on historical images
- Some of our older video content may not have transcripts. Where possible we are looking to provide PDF transcripts for these within the page
- Some linked PDFs may not be compliant with the highest level of PDF standards (PDF/UA). Please contact us if we can provide these in an alternative format
- Through user testing with a screen reader, the case-study link on the ‘Our Work’ page only becomes accessible after interacting with the item using VO. We are investigating how this can be turned into a much simpler (flatter) structure, that's more accessible, working with a screen-reader user to test
- Filtering design - this may be difficult to navigate on some levels and we are investigating alternative designs
Roadmap:
We commit to ongoing work on the website:
- Updating our accessibility statement regularly as we evolve and improve our site and digital platforms
- Updating archive video and audio content with transcripts where possible
- Regular website design assessments
- Ongoing testing with users with lived experience, including those who use screen readers and assistive technology
- Responding to feedback and queries and providing alternative formats where required
Feedback:
We are continuing to work to make our website work for everyone, and it is an ongoing process. If you experience difficulty accessing the site or have feedback as to how we can improve, we would welcome your thoughts.
