Lived Experience User Community
Design that connects us
At Mima, a cornerstone of our approach is the ‘Nothing About Us, Without Us’ ethos. Our accessibility and inclusive design team is led and run by consultants with lived experience of disability and other protected characteristics under the Equality Act (2010).
We invite you to join our lived experience user engagement database: a growing community of individuals who are passionate about improving accessibility and inclusion.

When the design of spaces, technology and experiences begins with understanding human behaviour, it connects us to the world and each other. From transport hubs to hospitals, from exhibitions and attractions to renewable energy, we solve the big challenges with a human-scale approach. We use deep research, creativity, insight and expertise grown over decades to shape digital and physical solutions that keep people moving, foster connection, and support everyday lives. We work in close collaboration with people with lived experience to co-design solutions that truly reflect diverse needs. And they succeed because their design begins and ends with people, always.
We'd love for you to join our lived experience user engagement database: a growing community of individuals who are passionate about improving accessibility and inclusion. By signing up, you’ll be invited to take part in future projects, workshops, user testing, and one-to-one interviews.
