Working at Mima

Design that connects us

Design Researcher Full time

Posted: one year ago

At Mima, all our design work is led by great research. This work brings understanding and insight into user needs, and helps us and our clients to explore and better know the problem. It opens the way for imaginative and creative solutions to the complex problems faced by many organisations.

We are looking for a Design Researcher who is skilled in uncovering those human-centered needs and translating them into tangible opportunities. We want someone who can tell compelling stories about the functional and emotional needs of people in order to bring them to life. We need someone who can work with a range of other design disciplines to create human-led solutions.

Are you able to use your research insights to reframe and challenge notions of what problem we are exploring? Are you able to communicate your research findings to provide a robust rationale for the design direction needed? Are you able to stand back and use your research to see the bigger picture and how different parts of the system interconnect? Do you bring a sense of curiosity to your work? If the answer is yes, these are the things our team needs.
